A tiny life, an extraordinary cost

₹2,000. Just 3–4 days of nourishment for one tiny life.
Imagine being just one month old and already needing specialized medical care to get the nourishment you need to grow.
At Hope House, we are caring for a precious little baby with a serious medical condition. His doctors have prescribed a specialized infant formula to meet his nutritional needs.
The cost is staggering for a charitable institution:
One 400-gram tin costs approximately ₹2,000. It lasts only 3–4 days. The monthly expense is approximately ₹16,000–₹20,000 for formula alone.
This is just one part of the care this little one needs.
At Hope House, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to grow, thrive and experience the warmth of compassionate care, regardless of their medical condition or circumstances.
But caring for children with complex medical needs comes with extraordinary, recurring expenses.
Every little life matters. Every little life deserves a chance.
We are sharing this story to help more people understand the realities of caring for medically vulnerable babies.
