"Watch & Win" is an effort of the Hope House in partnership with the offices of District Child Protection Unit (DCPU) and Chief Education Officer (CEO) of Ranipettai and Vellore districts to create awareness among children and their families bout child sexual abuse in a fun and engaging way.   

 

This is how it works.  Watch the video in English or in Tamil and right below the video panel, there will be a fun test of five questions.  When the child answers those questions, they are in.

 

 

 

 

 

Rules:

1.   Any individual below the age of 18 in the state of Tamilnadu can participate.

2.   Participation in the competition is restricted only for those that are residing and/ or attending school/  college in the state of Tamilnadu but the prizes are restricted only to those who are residing in the district of Ranipet and Vellore in the state of Tamilnadu.  (Address proof would be required to receive the prizes)

3.   Adults (parents/ guardians/ teachers/ family members) are expected to assist the child to watch the video but kindly allow him/ her to take the test all by himself/ herself.

4. Last day to submit the entry is 9th January, 2022 and the prizes will be announced on 09th January, 2022.

Prizes: 

1. All the participants in the state of Tamilnadu will receive a 'Certificate of Participation"

2. 16 winners in total (4 winners from from Government schools and four from private schools in each district) will receive a "Certificate of Merit", Rs 500 of cash prize plus Rs. 750 worth of dry grocery supplies.

3. In case of any dispute, decision of the Hope House is final and by participating in this competition, you agree to abide to such an understanding.
